Dear Family,
Not a lot to report this week. Sister Garcia's 21st birthday was Tuesday, so after District Meeting the elders came and sat on our back step and we fed them real Mexican tacos. Elder Kong dumped a lot of peppery salsa over Elder Cox's last taco, so unfortunately he didn't get to finish it :) I only got her a card, but I think she had a good birthday.
Monday we went to the beach with our zone and waded through a knee-deep river to the other side. It was fun! Lots of Hindu flags.
We also had Mission Leadership Conference on Friday. It was a really good MLC. We talked about how we are only failures if we are disobedient. I think that is essential to remember as missionaries, because sometimes it's hard to see the fruits of our labors. President Egbert also talked about the difference between faith and belief.
Sad news: My "daughter" (trainee), Sister Leishman, has been really sick these last few months, so they sent her home on Wednesday to get better. A parent should never have to bury their child . . .
Also, just wondering if you had any good FHE ideas for keeping the interest of teenage boys. We are struggling a little to help one of our less-actives and his friends. He did come to church yesterday, so that was a definite success!
Okay, I guess I did have a bit to say :) Hope you are all well! Love you!
Sister Aida Tibbitts
