Dear Family and Friends,
Well, Carnival has come and gone again. We went down to San Fernando and spent it with Sisters Cole, Masciantoni, Roubidoux, and Watson. We had a lot of fun talking, eating, and playing games. Monday morning we were allowed to go down to Couva for a sports day Couva Ward was having. Holy flying fish, it was crazy in Couva! There were all these speaker cars blasting soca music (the local Carnival music), and a bunch of crazy-dressed drunk people walking the roads. Some of them danced pretty much on our car. Let's just say, there is a reason why we stay inside for Carnival. The sports day was fun. I got my face painted :) Probs the only time I could have done that on my mission and had it not matter because no one would see me for two days :D
Today we are going on an exchange: Sister Masciantoni is coming down to Point with me and Sister Tilby with Sister Cole. Should be fun :) Hopefully most of our investigators did not participate in the fore-mentions Carnival proceedings.
Well, it's been a great week and a half! We are teaching a family (the mom and dad are actually married! It's a big deal in Trinidad) with three girls. I pray they read the Book of Mormon we gave them.
Love you all!
Sister Aida Tibbitts
